We are excited to announce the upcoming transformation of Vasia Resort & Spa into Le Méridien, Sissi, Crete, marking a new milestone in our collaboration with Marriott International. Over the next two years, the resort will undergo a full redesign of its rooms, public spaces, and leisure areas to reflect elevated standards of style, comfort, and contemporary design. In May 2026, the property will reopen as Vasia Resort & Spa, Sissi, Crete – part of Marriott Hotels, ahead of its complete rebranding and official debut as Le Méridien, Sissi, Crete in 2027.
Set in the charming fishing village of Sissi, framed by the sea and the Cretan mountains, the resort’s next chapter will blend its local heritage with the timeless, cultured spirit of Le Méridien. From May 2026, guests will enjoy thoughtfully redesigned accommodations, a 1,500 sq.m. Spa Center, and a curated collection of culinary experiences across four restaurants, Le Pâtisserie & Café, and three bars — each crafted to inspire, delight, and invite discovery throughout the day.
